Trouble downloading adobe reader 10.1 for mac 10.6.8

Tried to download adobe reader 10.1 for my Mac 10.6.8 OS but no download occurred when I clicked "save as" button. Any help greatly appreciated. John |

Go into Applications and if you have Preview installed, and you should, no need for Adobe bloatware. By default downloads save to the Downloads folder. Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer! |
