importing Fujifilm E900 into iphoto

Can't get iMac (OS X 10.7.2) iPhoto 9.2.1 to recognize and import photos or video from fujifilm E900 camera. Any help out there?

Best bet is in my opinion to get something like this.
Amazon.com: Premium Olympus Stylus 730 USB XD Card Reader/Writer: Electronics

Just pull the card and use a card reader to transfer. Works well. FWIW I never use a USB cable for photo transfer on any of my digital cameras (on my eighth one now).

I've always wanted to be smart, handsome and modest. But, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two out of three . . .

Mac Specs: 21in iMac core2 Duo- 13in macbook - 10.9 on both

Fuji has changed their firmware so that you can only use their software to transfer pics with usb.
Been using card readers for a long time now. Works better for me anyway.
