I forgot to save an email i need that i got when I was on Lion.

Can I use time machine just to obtain the email?
Everything is backed up on time machine.

But i dont want to re install Lion to get it.

As long as you have not selected to remove email from your ISP server after it's downloaded, you should be able to download it again via the web. GMail, my ISP server, will retain email forever (as long as I don't exceed space limitations) provided I leave received mail on the server after it's been downloaded.

Your topic title makes it sound like this is a job for someone with a whip and a chair. I'd go with chasg's suggestion though.

Dont forget to use the Reputation System if someone has helped you out !!!
“I have absolutely no pleasure in the stimulants in which I sometimes so madly indulge. It has not been in the pursuit of pleasure that I have periled life and reputation and reason. It has been the desperate attempt to escape from torturing memories, from a sense of insupportable loneliness and a dread of some strange impending doom ….”― Edgar Allan Poe
