I just got a new 27inch iMac, I have 16Gig of RAM running Lion. I've got an original intel based iMac running Snow Leopard. I've setup Screen Sharing on these systems and it is working, but not very reliable. I want to use the newer mac to connect to the old one from time to time. So far, the sharing session to the old mac will just hang for no apparent reason.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Have you tried using a different VNC client?

I haven't done that. I figured since I was using what Apple built in, I wouldn't be having these types of issues.

Do you or anyone else here have a suggestion for a better VNC Client to use for this?
