For the past week my iMac G5 (1GB ram) has been experiencing long delays when saving files or attaching files. The beach ball comes up and spins for about a minute or so, and then the folder structure (Finder?) opens to ask where to save or attach.

I run Yasu regularly and it repairs permissions, but I was wondering if there's anything I can do to speed this up.

Looking at the pic in your avatar I'd have to say it is old age :black:.

But on the real what kind of printer? Maybe try reinstalling the printer (drivers, whatever). That may help.
QUOTE Thanks
