Hey this may be dumb....but can I install Tiger if I don't have a DVD Rom??

Mac Specs: iBook 12" G4, 30 GB, 768 MB RAM. iPod 5G 30GB.

Im not sure but if you have an external drive or another mac with dvd rom.

External Drive: Put in the DVD and restart your computer holding down the option button. There should be an option to start into the dvd.

With another mac start up the computer you want to upgrade to Tiger into Target Disk Mode and connect it to another mac. Then put in the dvd in and restart, and select the mac you want to install Tiger.

Someone else might have a suggestion?
