iMac very slow to boot up - console messagesHello
My 27" iMac - 6 months old has just taken forever to boot up (eventually booted with the grey textured background) and has now opened the 'console' which has 4000 messages from 4 hrs before I switched off last night to the boot up now (7hrs later) - with phrases such as haspmld (?) "job appears to have crashed' 'throttling respawn: will start in 10 seconds
I am a bit concerned and don't really know whether these are anything to worry about as I am still a very new mac user!
I have looked into what this haspmld is which seems to be some some sort of security software which I wasn't aware of having installed or even if I need it with Lion?
If anyone can help I would be grateful.
Thanks
