I would like to transfer my iTunes library from my PC to my Macbook. I know how to transfer the whole music library, but as on the PC the whole family used the same iTunes, I was just wondering whether there is a way of transferring only certain playlists, as I could just delete all the other music once I have transferred the whole library on the Mac, but when I tried this it didn't seem to delete it from the hard drive, just the iTunes library, and as such seems a bit of a waste of space?

DElete all the tracks from iTunes in the usual way
Reload the whole library and when deleting tracks use Command-delete and you will be prompted to keep the files or move them to the trash. |
