Hi, I want to erase my hdd and reinstall Lion OS on it but I do not have the installation disc with me. Can you please suggest me the best method to do this ?

Why do you need a disc?

Just boot the machine pressing and holding Command + R. Lion applies a hidden recovery partition and this contains the functional equivalent of a boot disc.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
