I upgraded to Lion last week and I had AOL files saved on my computer. In order to access those files, is there some AOL upgrade that will be a bandaid or is there a way I can not lose the info contained in those files? I downloaded AOL Desktop 10.something version but that was no help. Erased it.

AOL Desktop would have CONVERTED those files into Mac standard files (you know, contacts into address book, e-mail into Mail and so forth) for you if you'd taken the time to understand it. Then you'd have them.
AOL Desktop is, to the best of my knowledge, all that's left of AOL for Mac (other than AIM). |
