Just thought I'd share a little something that pleased me yesterday.

So I was copying 80GB of files from 1 external drive to another on my iMac. I reached out to adjust the screen position and accidentally pressed the power button, causing the iMac to go to sleep.

Curses, I could have done without this 25 minutes into copying.

After resuming everything reverted back to normal, and to my surprise the file copy just came back up and continued from where it left

I really don't know if Windows would have done this, but I was impressed anyway.

BTW, this was using Lion.

Yes normal behaviour even with Windows lol!

Works the same with interrupted downloads.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
