Unable to boot recovery hd partition.

Hi, i wanted install linux mint on my mac, so i installed rEFIt - EFI machine bootloader, but then i have some trouble with my mac, so i unistalled that bootloader, but now i cannot boot recovery partion hd, because i need repair disc trough disc utility. Mac stay on booting window with apple and circle progressbar and nothing happened. I tried create recovery partion on my usb by recovery disc assistent, but same problem, mac stay on window with apple and nothing happened. Can somebody help?

How did you uninstall rEFIt? If you didn't uninstall it correctly, the OS X boot loader will not work. Also, before trying anything else, reset the PRAM. Let's see if that works.
