G'day and welcome to the forums.

You may, but have tried dongles with G4 and G5 with no success at all. Suitable drivers seem to be the main problem. From memory which is getting pretty frail, the first G3 iMacs to use an Airport card were the 350MHz slot loaders.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

I don't know if this will help, but I am awaiting shipment for one of these myself for an old G4 iMac:
n300HS-ATM

Sounds like it might work for you. Hope it helps.
