Hi all, I have a mid 2009 model macbook pro with snow leopard on it and I've been having problems with my microsoft word 2008 crashing. It will crash several times in a row all within a few minutes of opening word and then won't crash for a few weeks or even months. Sometimes it takes me hours to get the stupid thing working and I often times lose a lot of work. I've tried a lot of the troubleshooting tips on this site but none of them have worked, and its hard to tell if they did since word will oftentimes just start working again randomly. Run the uninstaller and then using your Office CD, do a clean install.
