Hi there, hope this post is in the right spot... Well, I have been trying to get Finder to inform the total size of a selected group of folders and so far I have not succeded. For instance, in the Status Bar Finder informs the number of folders selected, but it does not tell the size of the selection, only the available spale in the Hard Disk. Any suggestions on how to generate this information ?
Thanks in advance, LBM |

Have you tried selecting a closed folder and then either press Command + I simultaneously or choosing Get Info from the file menu. Don't select a file inside the folder or you will get the information for that file only.
If the folder contains a large number of files and folders the Get Info may take some time to report the size. Yeah that is cool. I had forgotten about it since I usually use the keyboard shortcut.
