I see threads all over the forum regarding this issue, yet I am still unable to get my audio working again on a late 2009 Mac Mini 3.1
System Preferences > Sound and Audio Midi Setup both show no output devices found. Audio (Built In) under System Profiler shows: Device ID: 0x10ECB79 AudioID: 0 Nothing else though. I've opened up the Mini and verified the copper colored flat wire connecting the [presumed] audio card to the backplane of the SATA receptors. I've checked speaker wires for the internal speaker. Still nothing Additionally, the startup chime has stopped. Anyone have any ideas? I see no visible damage anywhere. |
