Newbie who needs help!

I have an IMAC version 10.6.8, model # 9.1, L2 cache 6MB,memory slots bank 0 1gb, bank 1 1gb Bought in may 2009 and upgraded to Snow Leopard. I would like to upgrade my RAM. What is the best RM to buy and what is compatable with this IMAC. Any information on how to make my MAC work faster and more reliable would be very much appreciated.

Go here : OWC and look up your mac.
