So a couple of days ago I got tired of my computer running slow. After some online research I came to some walkthroughs about cleaning out my caches. In doing this my computer is running faster but it suddenly left me with a number of files that have a circle with a hash mark through them. So I did more research. I've deleted and reloaded a number of files (Ie I tunes) and I've reviewed and repaired permissions. Finally I just reloaded lion. However, after all of this I still have a number of files I can't open. Garage band, IDVD, Iphoto, IMovie, Iweb.
I got lion online and I have the snow leapord disk if that helps. How do I correct this? |

You may have file corruptions due to a failing hard drive. See this thread for further advice given there:
