Floral 600 mhz G3 CRT slot load.
Firmware 4.1.9

It had a very bad copy of 10.02 that went funny.

I dont have the l install CD but a friends CDRW copy of os x 9 (I think its legal to use the same OS as it used to have) ?

It just spits out the CD no matter what (When I was in desktop the CD would copy files so it works)

I formatted the HDD in my PC and used mac disk software to extract and copy the files from my PC to the newly formatted mac partition (Two partitions)

However they dont show when I boot pressing option.
I used OSX lion install DVD on another computer to use disk utilities to format to HFX+

ANy tips where to start?

I have an imac USB keyboard with a microsoft USB wireless mouse.

Yes but your own original and not a friend's copy. And using the PC will not work either. As the firmware has been updated have a look round auction sites for Jaguar OS X.2 or Panther OS X.3 if you can find the black retail version and not the silver grey model specific discs.

Getting hard to find any operating system on CD's these days.
