Rather than holding down the option key to decide which partition to boot from, I would like to automatically go to the option screen on start up and choose. Is there any way of doing this?

Thx in advance

I don't know of any way in OSX to make the selection screen always display.

But you try rEFIt

As with anything to alters partitions, EFi etc read the docs and info well, always have a backup.

External hard disk acquisition addict - but admitting the problem is the first step to a robust backup
