One wide wallpaper image, many desktops?
This is not a technical question. I am just wondering if anyone has done this yet that you know of. I would like to have one very wide wallpaper image split into three or four sections that could be applied to different desktops, so that there's some continuity when I switch between desktops. I know this would just take a bit of time with photoshop, but surely someone has done this, right? If so, I would like to find a place where such wallpapers are posted...

I would also like to take a moment to say how much I love multiple desktops and full-screen mode in OS Lion. I think they really got it this time. I hardly ever have to use exposť, or minimize programs, because it's so convenient just to move between desktops.

Here, I went ahead and did it. The poor quality of my camera is a bitt too visible at this zoom, and the insects on the windshield are a bit of a distraction the sunset group, but it's a proof of concept.
