I just notice today when I turn on my macbook pro that it when it startup it load from the grey screen with the logo and the spinning thing to a white screen then to the desktop. Before it just go straight from the grey screen with the logo to the desktop. My macbook is working but since I'm new to mac I was wondering is it normal and why does that occur and what does it mean. Thank you. If I'm posting this in the wrong place I'm sorry, I'm not too sure where I should post this.

AS long as its starting up then dont worry

But I would do some maintenance on it, try using Onyx

You can also start you're Mac in the verbose mode and see if it is waiting for something.
