Hi, i have a 15 inch macbook pro and my mom has a 13 inch macbook pro. i want to install bootcamp on my computer but i dont have my os x installation disk. would i be able to use the 13 inch installation disk on my computer? or will it have issues due to the size of the laptop it was made for

the size shouldnt be of any concern. What is however, is the version of the OS

No they will not be interchangeable. System discs are extremely model specific. You can go into Bootcamp Assistant, print the instructions, and see if it is possible to download drivers and burn to a CD. If not you will need your Snow Leopard discs.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
