Hi,

Today I purchased a new Macbook Pro (first time with an apple laptop)

And on setting up it asked me if I wanted to transfer all my old files from my iMac so I went through it all and it said it completed this process successfully.

However I cannot find a single one of my files anywhere on the computer.

Can anyone tell me where they will be?
QUOTE Thanks

Open Finder window and use Spotlight (search).

Of course, I know everything . . . I just can't remember it all at once.

They should be in the same place as they were on your iMac.
