trying to find quicktime player cache

hope this is the correct section to post this

im trying to to find the quicktime player cache I have gone to finder and chosen go to folder and then ~/library/caches/quicktime
but it says no folder found ?
I have also put in ~/Library/Caches/Safari but the same again ?
Im running safari 5.1.1 and lion 10.7.2
any help would be great
