First thread. I am attempting to use a camera on skype. I have an iBook G4, MAC OS X 10.4.11. Have downloaded macam, one instruction is to move a file into Library/Quicktime. I do see a Quicktime app. file but there is nothing in the Library folder. I can see video on my macam screen but skype does not recognize I now have a camera. How do I get a quicktime file into the library file?
QUOTE Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Just started up my PPC iMac with 10.4.11 and what i found is you need to navigate to ~/Library/Quicktime and the ~ denoting yourhome folder
Do you see the HD icon for your Mac ?? then you need to start there.
The Quicktime file is in the System Library not your account Library folder.
HTH

Cheers

Sorry, but the ~ means your Home Folder, not your HD (hard drive).
LIke TatMac says, open your hard drive, goto Library/Quicktime and put it there.
