I recently bought a MBP with Lion preinstalled. I have also purchased a SSD to install that will replace the existing drive. I have looked for a way to backup or create some recovery disc that I can use to install Lion on the SDD but i couldn't find any info other than if I had downloaded Lion from the App Store. Is there any way to create an install disc from preinstalled Lion?

Thanks!

What if I wanted to do a completely clean install? For some reason I never feel comfortable with a clone/backup-restore.

CCC is safe to use as a clone/backup. You can boot from it also.

And do not clone to an SSD. Do a clean install and update using Migration Assistant.

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
