I can not get my Mac to boot up!

After an issue with Silverlight, it acting up while i was teying to watch a netflix movie, I uninstalled & reinstalled it a few times & when I deleted the plug in for what was going to be the last time, my comp started acting screwy, I restarted it & now it just will not boot up, not even in safe mode. I tried just about everything I could read online for it & nothing worked.
I tried restarting it in regular mode & after a little bit a weird screen with some letters & numbers popped up stating to turn it off & turn it right back on (in different languages) I did & after a long while with the load bar it just went back to just the apple & spinner.

I'm running the latest version of snow leopard. I was going to try the recovery disk when I got home. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Eddie

Boot from the OS Disk, go to Disk Utilities and Try Repairing Disk Permissions.

Of course, I know everything . . . I just can't remember it all at once.
