My friend has just purchased a late 90's powerbook on Ebay. It came loaded with OS9.2. He tells me that the laptop has 2 eleven gig hard drives. He has purchased OSX and would like to install it on the computer. He tells me that the disc downloads to the point that it asks you to choose a hard drive but will not let him click on either. He laso tell me that it has 308k ram. I have not looked at his computer yet. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with a situation such as this? It has a G3 processor by the way. My own Ibook is only six months old and has been easy to keep updated so I am not sure how to help him.
