external drive and lion

Member Since: Oct 19, 2011 Posts: 1	10-19-2011, 03:36 PM My Macbook Pro recognizes that my external Seagate drive is there when I look at system information or use the disk utility. However, my time machine says nothing is available and nothing shows up when I open MacIntosh HD on the desktop. The external drive is working but not very usable. I switched to Lion.
