should I do a fresh install of Lion to my new MBP SSD (HDD will go to optical bay)?
should I do a fresh install of Lion to my new MBP SSD (HDD will go to optical bay)?
Are there really any benefits of a clean install of an OS on Mac? i.e. there's no registry or anything...

If it is possible make a clone of you're HD to SDD drive with the carbon cloner .
After that restart you're MAC while you hold down the option key .
If it give you the option to boot from the sdd boot from there and see if it works .
Doing a clean install have there benefits if you use the MAC for several years and have done a lot installing and uninstalling
