Should i underscore between words?

I often see people name their files by underscoring between words. I have heard conflicting things about the need/use of this. I dont do it, but perhaps I should. Thoughts?

Mac Specs: 2008 and 2011 15" mbps, late 11 iMac, iPhone 4s, and too many ipods and other stuff

Dysfunction is offline
I don't use spaces because I don't like escaping those spaces on the command line. If you don't use the command line, it's a non-issue for the most part.
