Renaming my home Folder

Could someone please tell me how to rename my home folder please, the steps that I can follow. Please.

Welcome to the Mac Forums.

See the following Apple KB article on how to change the home folder name.

Caution! Do not attempt this procedure without first making a backup of your entire hard drive. Also, you will notice that the Apple instructions state that you must enable the "Root" user first. If you mess up while using the "Root" user you could lose data and might not be able to gain access to your original account.
