I have three or four external IDE drives (incl an old IBM Bigfoot), which is over the top, but I can't bear to part with them. Actually, new IDE drives are getting harder to come by but several retailers (other than OWC) seem still to carry stocks. Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer! |
