I am using a Nokia CS11 Modem with my Mac Pro OS 10.6.7.
The modem connects to the local mobile HSPA+ network.
The Mac doesn't recognise the Modem as a device even when it is installed and working, which means that you just have to pull it out when you've finished using it. It doesn't seem to be healthy to do this for the Mac or the modem?
Incidentally there's some other strange stuff - if you want to remove the modem software the only way of doing it is by placing it all in Trash, then restarting the computer, then emptying the Trash in exactly that order. If you try deleting it before the restart you get messages telling you that multiple files are running and nothing I have tried so far enables delete prior to a restart. (Also restarting the computer then putting the files in Trash then attempting to empty the Trash in that order does not work either - you get the messages saying files are running still.)
Does anyone have experience with this modem?
