Hey guys

I got my new 8 gb ram and my 500gb hybrid seagate momentus xt home yesterday, and now I have put both into my macbook pro. My Hybrid HDD was formatted as a mac os x extended journaled, and I began the installation. After 4 minutes the installation stopped; it wouldn't go further with the installation. "Installation was stopped cause missed supportarchives". Do you know why this is shown on my screen?

Thanks

Sorry for my bad english, hehe.

Have you been into Partition after formatting and selected GUID? What are you installing,Llion, Snow Leopard,Leopard, and what discs are you using ~ black or silver/grey coloured?

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
QUOTE Thanks
