"Other" is literally that, other files than Audio, Photos, movies and backup. For instance this will cover documents, system files, cached files, temp files etc Hope this helps a little - Simon Rest In Peace Steven Paul Jobs February 24, 1955 - October 5, 2011 [aged 56]
