Yesterday I started my download when I got home about 5PM PST. It went on to about the midway point by 10PM and stayed there. I left it overnight and it probably only moved about another 5% if that. Let it run all morning through about 1PM and still not result.

That's a long time, so I canceled the download after a pause, rebooted and tried it again. It wouldn't move. Rebooted again and logged in and now I keep getting the message shown on the screen shot.

I contacted the App Store support with this screenshot and told them I was also starting to get an internal error: 505 and they said they would simply refund my money and that I should try again later. I replied stating that this should be fixed as I'm not claiming a refund, but rather that the download works.

Are any of you guys experiencing problems with this? I'm noticing a growing thread at the Apple community: https://discussions.apple.com/message/15675535#15675535

I'd appreciate any feedback as I'm hoping to get this thing up and running before the week is out.

Thanks!

It sounds like the Apple servers are beginning to bend under the stress of all the download hits they're getting. And if you have a slow connection that will make matters worse. I downloaded my copy yesterday early in the morning as soon as it was available and it took like 15 to 20 minutes on a fast FIOS connection. I would do as the Apple rep advised and wait a few days until the downloads slow down.

chscag, thanks for your reply. I figured it might be bottle-necking due to the amount of downloads. I'm on a DSL connection that's rather fast and letting it run for a day and a night seemed much too long. The rep did get back to me saying they had a download issue that has been resolved. I'm about to make another attempt at downloading this again.

Thanks!
