Hello fellow enthusiasts!

Today was an update for Snow leopard (nothing much, just Remote desktop and iTunes i think). And this is where the problems start. After installing the update (as usual) my Dashboard widgets "broke" down on me. The weather report shows no information and can't find any city I type in, the ESPN results can not be obtained, the stock exchange shows Error retrieving chard and tries to connect to database, flight info is frozen, the only functioning thing is the world clock.

So what in the world happened and how can I solve this problem?
Is it the Lion release that is the reason for this or is something gone wrong with the update?

Thanks for any help!

HI,

Sorry that I can't help, but I have found the same!! Everything as frozen since I backed up my hard drive in prep for a Lion install! Only currency converter widget works!! Everything else is zombie-like!!
Can it be reset, or jump-started??
Thanks anyone!!

I encounter the same problem with my weather widget. I just downloaded another weather widget from the Weather Channel under 'get more widgets' that works. But I just put back my original weather widget, now it works. Not sure what happened.

The problem has seem to disappeared while I was sleeping. Now everything works just fine like before. Maybe they did something for Lion's sake (compatibility, new databases...). Anyways thanks for the help and concern.
