Had my mac 19months and never bought apple care as i said i would wait 12 months then purchase but things never work out as i say!...anyhow battery is saying it needs a service which probably means a replacement! it only holding 67% of its power and has done 276 loadcycles!
Now would it be wise to buy applecare and get it replaced on that or is there a lag period from buying it before actually using it to replace it under that?! I would guess the battery to replace in uk is about £100 + VAT and fitting charges so bout £150! help
