Java Applet Window login/pw invalid screen keeps popping up

Every now and then this screen appears "Your login or your password is invalid-please try again." It drives me nuts b/c I have to click Ok constantly to make it go away. Any ideas? I"m using Snow Leopard. Thanks!

Mac Specs: 2012 13" MBP (2.5 i5, 8GB)

The smaller icon there suggests that it has something to do with Dashboard. Do you have any dashboard applet that requires logging into a service?
