Hi All,

I install some program and its telling me I nee to install some Perl and Python plugin in order for it to run.

How do I do this please ??

Perl modules: Here.
Python modules: Here and for instructions on using easy_install to install modules (which might be much easier), check this link out.

What are you trying to install and what modules do you need? There may even be OS X installers available which is even easier.

Hi I am trying to install some security tools for my job.

I need nltk,libxml2,pysvn,scapy python

there main ones for the moment I am sure I will need more sooner or later.

NLTK has installation instructions on their page here. libxml2 is available in some form for both languages so take a look to find the page for the version (python or perl) you need. PySVN can be found here. Scapy can be found here. My guess is that the modules you need that you don't get through a package manager (such as cpan or easy_install) will have installation instructions available in the download or on their page.

All of those are available through cpan. The instructions I provided above will help you install those.
