Why can't I seem to fast forward when watching this keynote..It's pretty annoying.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |

why can't I seek kind of like you can on you tube? I would also think that once it's playing the buffer would allow me to fast forward..If I hit pause and move the seeker/slider it moves but then when I hit play it takes me back to where it left off? any ideas? I mean I can "view source" and then put http://stream.qtv.apple.com/events/j...06_650_ref.mov in my browser by why should I have to do that?

On older machines the video may need to fully load before you can do this, and the June 2011 movie is two hours long, so perhaps give it a minute or two before trying to "scrub" and perhaps that will work better. Aside to cwa: high five, earthman! |

Did you try just waiting a minute or two and then moving the bar to the point you want, as I described?
You can't "fast forward" the video (as in "play it at multiples of its original speed") but you can "jump" to a fairly specific point using the mouse. |
