Hi guys, May be posting in the wrong section here as my problem isn't with Mail.
I believe someone has signed up 1 of my Gmail accounts to receive 'Spam' For the last 3 weeks I've been getting around 60 eMails a day coming through and while 'Mail' is filtering it as Spam like it should.. Is there a way to prevent receiving these eMails? Every time I list them as Junk and delete but always get more? Thanks, Flook. |

The SPAM filtering should be taking place at the GMail server not in your mail application. My GMail account garners hundreds of SPAM mail on a weekly basis but it's all filtered out so that I never see it.
The only thing I can suggest for now is to change your password at GMail to one that's strong and see what happens. If the SPAM continues to be downloaded to your machine you may have to delete that account and create a new one. |
