I need to know what to set in order to click on an email link and then be able to be taken directly to my send message box on my email.

I now have to copy and paste and before a recent update, I was able to just click on the link and be taken directly to my email account. Not sure what happened. Can someone please help me?

Thank you

A good start would be to mention which email program you are using, followed by basic info like email provider, your model Mac, OS version and so on.

I have a macbook pro 15 inch. 2.66
GHZ intel core 2 Duo, 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3, I use both gmail and imail, version 3.6 and Mac OS X, 10.5.8 and both Firefox and Safari, but mostly Firefox. I updated Safari and now I cannot connect to email by clicking on the link. Very strange. Won't connect through either Safari or Firefox.

Can you help me?
