My MacBook won't recognize my USB drive anymore, and neither will 2 other Macs that I tried. I've been using the USB drive on my mac and my work PC for 8 months without any trouble.

I assume this is a problem with my USB drive and not my computer, since several different macs wouldn't recognize it?

I have a lot of important data on the USB drive, so I really need to figure out a way to get it off. Any ideas?

Does it still work on the PC? If so, back up the data there, and check the formatting of the USB drive.
Re-format it as FAT, put the data back, and try again.
