does anyone know if theres any good free apps or programs to download, for cleaning up my macbook from all the unwanted files floating about in there somewhere lol cheers

What makes you believe there are any unwanted files floating about in there?

Also suggest trying Onyx which is free and avoid those pay for use programs like the plague. Here is an older version:-

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
