My MacBook Pro will start up, chime and the gray screen will appear, then nothing else. When I turn it off again, a faint beep can be heard.

I have tried resetting it with these keys and no luck.

P+R+cmd+opt
shift
s+cmd
X
opt
cmd

Any help?

MacBook Pro - OS X 10.6.7 - 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7 - 8 GB Ram - NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M
