    Exclamation [HELP] Panther password issue
i got an old powerbook G4, its still running nicely though, it is old.

it still got the same'old OS X it came with, (Panther OS 10.3.9), but i got a prob.

i tried to change my password in the system>account panel, entered my old password, and where u should type the new password, there alreaddy where some "*", than i accidently hit the Enter key, so now the admin password is some standard password i dont know...

yet, i have no restore CD's, so that wont work..

does anybody know that standard password??
or is there another way to recover it???
    please answer.

    My regards,

Looks like you are in the market for the full retail version of Panther. Do not buy the silver/grey model specific discs.
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
