I running into a little problem and I'm not sure if it's software or hardware.

Lately I've been having random freezes when I click a software in my stacks folder.
I would open the stack (pops up) click the software and as soon as I do that the screen goes black, the keyboard light is still on and whatever music playing at the time would get stuck in a short loop.

I would have to shut it down by pressing the power button and sending a crash report afterwards.

Doesn't happen all the time just randomly. What could this be?

I'm on a 2010 Macbook Pro 15" running 10.6.7

would it help if I post the crash report?

QUOTE Thanks

Yes, it would help us to try to determine what's causing the crash. Paste the entire KP report into your next reply. Reply back to this same thread.

Here's the KP report

I also took it to a genius at an Apple store couple days ago explaining what's been happening and they took it overnight for a diagnostics test/stress test whatever and reported back with nothing

Thanks in advance!
